Skill Level: This class is recommended for Confident Beginners, which basically means you’ve sewn something before. You should be comfortable threading a sewing machine and sewing a straight stitch.
A sewing machine (if you have one- I have 2 machines that can be provided upon request)
Optional: Any fabric you would like to use for the corset (I will have lots of upcycled fabrics to choose from, but feel free to bring your own if you have a specific vision in mind).
Thread in various colors
Tons of high quality vintage and upcycled fabrics to choose from

Pre-printed paper pattern for you to take home
This workshop will be at a private residence located in East Austin off of Tillery Street. The exact address will be provided after ticket purchase. Please note- the entrance to this residence is not wheelchair accessible, so please let us know if you require any special accommodations and we can discuss some options!
This is the pattern we will be working through together: Etsy . No need to purchase the pattern or print it out, I will have it ready for you at the start of class. 😊
For time’s sake, we will be doing the corset version without boning. Please read the sizing details carefully to determine which size you will need. I included the size chart in the photos here.
