Fueled by a deep love for the earth and a desire to honor its resources, Heather Olson founded Wear Trash out of her home in Austin, Texas in 2022.
Heather is a passionate advocate for extending the life of existing textiles, which, in turn, reduces our reliance on the devastating & inhumane manufacturing practices of the Fast Fashion industry.
Through the offerings of upcycled sewing patterns, group sewing workshops + private lessons, Wear Trash is your go-to resource for learning to extend the life of the textiles you already own.
In a world driven by overconsumption, Heather believes that practicing slow fashion is one of the most badass and revolutionary things you can do.
